Your first step is to eat fewer foods that are high in calories, fat, salt and sugars and swap them for something that is healthier such as fruits and vegetables.

Here are some unhealthy foods and some healthier alternatives.
Fried potatoes can be swapped for Air fried kale chips, roasted chick peas or crunchy veggie sticks.
White bread can be swapped for whole grain or seeded bread, whole grain wraps or even lettuce wraps.
White rice can be swapped for brown rice, quinoa, farro or cauliflower rice.
White pasta can be swapped for whole wheat pasta, chick pea pasta or zucchini “noodles”.
Energy drinks can be swapped for coffee or tea (taken w/o added sugar).
Candy can be swapped for fruit or sugar free yogurt with a tablespoon of mini chocolate chips stirred in.
