What to do if you’re stuck.

Have you found yourself overwhelmed with which diet to follow?

Maybe which exercise routine to start or which one is the best?

Maybe the thought of working on your health and fitness causes anxiety or seems like climbing Mt. Everest.

Burnt out or frustrated with your new routine?

Fear not, we’ve got some advice for you.

If you’re in a house and the house is on fire….JUST GET OUT OF THE HOUSE.

You can figure out how the fire started later. Assess blame and over analyze what caused it later.

Just get out of the house, what you’re doing is not working.

Not sure if you should do plant based, keto, P90x, Zumba, etc.?

It doesn’t matter.

More thinking and procrastinating won’t lead to results.

At the end of the day, most of you have tried all different kinds of diets and temporary exercise routines and they all CAN work for you BUT the reason they DIDN’T work for you is because at a certain point you stopped being consistent.

SO FOCUS.

Start out thinking about taking small consistent steps, even if it’s just slowly. Just get started with some consistency. If you can’t sprint, jog, if you can’t jog then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, DO SOMETHING and stick to it.

Even the worst diet and exercise plan can get results if done consistently.

Start out with what you think you can be consistent with right now.

If you’re in a hard place, it’s confidence you lack, the answer is to just get started and embrace that it will be hard. It’s always hard to start something new but through those hard things, change WILL occur.

There is too much paralysis by analysis in our heads. The answer is to take action now and just start doing something that makes you a little uncomfortable, and then do it again the next day, and again the day after that.

To those people who are in that bad place, know that you aren’t broken and you CAN improve but you have to start, and you have to focus on staying consistent. You’re going to stumble and fall down, but it’s ok, pick yourself back up and KEEP GOING!

If you’re consistent and you keep working hard, you’ll get to where you want to go.

Resilience, discipline and consistency are super powers that CAN be improved!
