What if you didn’t have to figure it all out on your own?
I had the following conversation with a client a few weeks back:
Client: I have so much going on! Work deadlines and upcoming travel for work and fun. Family commitments and scheduling conflicts. It feels like I never catch a break and I just can’t figure out how to fit in exercise and better eating habits. I know I feel better when I do but I am just so overwhelmed with it all!
Me: Wow! That sounds like a lot! But remember, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Helping you find small changes to make or add just one healthy habit to your busy schedule is what I am here for.
Client: (Blinks back tears of frustration and exhaustion)
Me: I am here to support you in your busy life and to help you become the best version of yourself in the midst of the chaos. Let me do the heavy lifting of figuring out the habits will help you the most with the time you have.

Do you feel the tension in this? Do you identify with the frustration and exhaustion in these statements?
Life is busy! Work, Family, Relationships, Kids, Travel.
We hear on the news that we are supposed to exercise, eat enough protein and vegetables, drink enough water. Oh yeah, we are also supposed to get 7+ hours of sleep per night!
How do we figure out how to fit it all in?
We tell ourselves we’ll take are of ourselves when life gets less busy. We’ll prioritize these things when we have more time.
Friends, let’s take just a moment and acknowledge that there is always something and the best time to start taking care of yourself is today because, chances are, things are not going to slow down and you will not get more time without rearranging some priorities.
