If You Feel Like You’re Failing at Health—Read This 👀
Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I know what to do—I just can’t seem to do it”?
{Read here about a different way of thinking: What if you didn’t have to figure it out on your own? }
Maybe you’ve blamed yourself for lacking discipline, motivation, or willpower.
Let’s pause there—because what if the issue isn’t laziness or lack of effort?
What if you’re just overloaded?
Here’s what we see time and again with our clients—especially in mid-summer when schedules are scattered and expectations stay high: They’re juggling too much. Their brains are in survival mode. And when that happens, your nervous system doesn’t care about your goals—it cares about getting through the day.
From a holistic perspective, health isn’t just about what you eat or how often you exercise. It’s about what’s going on inside your body, your mind, and your daily environment.
When your stress is sky-high or your mental load is maxed out, it makes perfect sense that you can’t just “get back on track.” So what can you do instead?

👉 Start by creating safety. This might sound strange in the context of nutrition, but when your body feels safe, your brain can finally start making calm, intentional choices again.
A simple way to do this: Pause for 30 seconds a few times a day and check in with yourself—no phone, no distractions. Ask:
- What do I need right now?
- Have I eaten enough real food today?
- Am I holding tension in my body?
You don’t need to be perfect to improve your health. You just need to feel supported—internally and externally.

And that’s where we come in. If you’re ready to stop trying to do this all on your own, we’re here to help.
Our coaching is built around your real life—no shame, no pressure, just real strategies that work with your schedule, your mindset, and your goals. We want to help you succeed and sometimes that means helping you establish routines and habits and sometimes it means reminding you to enjoy your days off.

Set up a Free Goal Review session today and sit down with one of our coaches. Let us help you figure out the best way forward (which may mean taking more days off or may mean getting into a realistic schedule for the season of life you are in).
