This is a massive milestone that represents years of consistent effort. Hitting 1,000 classes isn’t something that happens because you have a good month or two. It happens when you build a routine that sticks, keep showing up through busy seasons, and commit to being a little better than yesterday.
Matt has done exactly that over the last 4+ years, and we’re excited to celebrate him.
How Matt Found Fit2Live
Matt got his start at Fit2Live in October of 2021, after a little encouragement from his wife, Keri. At the time, Matt came in mostly as a runner and rec sports athlete. He had spent years staying active through pickup basketball, indoor soccer, and other activities, but strength training and structured workouts weren’t really his thing.
What changed for Matt is the same thing that changes for many members. He discovered that Fit2Live isn’t just about working out. It’s about community, challenging yourself to be a little better than yesterday, and starting your day with a little bit of fun before the rest of life kicks in.
Once Matt got started, he never looked back.

Consistency That’s Almost Hard to Believe
Since joining, Matt has become one of the most consistent and dedicated members in the gym. He’s a familiar face in the 6am class, regularly showing up 5–6 days every week, and his long-term consistency is genuinely impressive.
Here’s what Matt has built through steady effort:
- A crazy 41 months in a row hitting the Committed Club board (16+ classes per month).
- Major improvements in strength and overall fitness.
- Ran his fastest mile ever after adding strength training to his routine.
That last point is a great reminder for runners and rec athletes. Strength training doesn’t take away from what you love. When it’s done consistently and coached well, it often helps you move better, stay healthier, and perform at a higher level.

Competition, Community, and Showing Up Together
Matt is also no stranger to competition. He and Keri have taken on several Fall Brawl competitions together, putting their functional fitness to the test and proving that working out together can be a pretty fun way to spend a weekend.
This is one of the things we love most about Fit2Live. Progress is personal, but it’s also shared. When you have community, you have people to celebrate with, train alongside, and lean on when things get hard.
Attitude, The Secret to Matt’s Success
If you’ve ever been in the 6am class, you’ve probably seen Matt doing what he does best—leading the charge, especially when cardio shows up in the workout. He brings energy and effort that raises the level of the room.
What makes Matt such a special part of the Fit2Live community isn’t just his work ethic, it’s his attitude.
He shows up ready to work, ready to play, and ready to support the people around him.
As Matt once said:
