How Benny Stays Fit For Nursing At Fit2Live
Meet Benny.
She is our newest member of the 500 class club at Fit2Live!
Benny first got her start at Fit2Live when she was a U of M student training with the Michigan Ultimate Frisbee team in 2016!
After doing training sessions with the ultimate team she was hooked on all things functional fitness (and Fit2Live) and decided to keep the habit going with her membership starting in 2017.
For 7+ years Benny has kept her workout habit going as she finished her undergrad at Michigan and went right into her career as a nurse at the U of M.
As an overnight nurse Benny works long, crazy hours.
Her habits and routine are thrown off regularly.
She needs energy and strength to make it through her long shifts, oftentimes lifting patients and doing other physically demanding work.
Benny certainly needed functional fitness during her undergrad years but she needs it even more as an overnight nurse.
Benny has found the secret formula to balancing out her job as nurse and her sometimes sporadic routine.
She takes the guess work out of her fitness routine by enlisting the help of her Fit2Live coaches to keep her on track when life and work gets in the way.
She has the Fit2Live community by her side each time she comes to class, ensuring that she has fun but also that she is productive in her one hour of fitness a day.
When she has an off week, our coaches and our community are right there to hold her accountable and get her back on track quickly, ensuring she doesn’t take steps backwards with her fitness and ultimately her health.
Benny is always focused and happy with a smile on her face when she is training at Fit2Live, it’s her happy place.
She supports those around her and works hard herself with plenty of functional fitness to show for it.
