This is Anita.
Anita is officially in the 100 Class Club at Fit2Live, her milestone represents far more than a number on the board. It represents resilience, commitment, and the decision to keep building strength and capability through every season of life.
Anita got her start at Fit2Live in August of 2024 after previously participating in the Capable Program, a CrossFit-based fitness program designed for individuals going through cancer treatment. That background matters, because Anita didn’t come to Fit2Live looking for a quick fitness phase. She came with a purpose to set herself up for long term health success.
A Goal That Matters
To say Anita is resilient would be an understatement. She has battled cancer twice and came to Fit2Live with one simple but powerful goal: continue building strength and functional movement so she could keep living life to the fullest.
That is what fitness is supposed to be about. Not chasing perfection, not comparing to others, but building a body that helps you do the things you care about and gives you confidence in your ability to keep moving forward.
Consistency That Builds Confidence
Since joining, Anita has consistently shown up to class two times each week, putting in the work and steadily rebuilding trust in what her body can do. That type of consistency is powerful, especially when it’s paired with good coaching and a supportive environment. It’s also the kind of routine that creates real progress without burning you out.
Over time, the small wins stack up, movement starts to feel smoother, strength starts returning and confidence grows.

The Progress Anita Has Made
Anita’s progress has been incredible. She’s not only getting stronger, she’s doing it in a way that supports how she wants to live outside the gym.
Here are a few wins she has earned through steady work:
- She’s getting stronger overall.
- She’s improved hip mobility and lower body function.
- She’s increased grip strength and shoulder mobility.
- She has even knocked out non-modified push-ups.
These are the kinds of improvements that change how your whole body feels. They also create the momentum that makes fitness feel empowering instead of intimidating.
The Best Results Are Happening Outside the Gym
As great as the gym progress is, what we love most is what’s happening outside the gym. Anita is now hiking more and even rock climbing with her kids. She’s been honest that these are things she likely would not have done before starting at Fit2Live.
