Tell us a little about yourself, where you’re from, what brought you to the states, what you do outside of Fit2Live, family, hobbies, etc.
I was born and raised in India and moved to the United States for my job. I am an IT professional. Currently, I live in Ypsilanti township with my wife, who works at the University of Michigan. Outside of CrossFit, I enjoy outdoor activities and love watching movies, but only in theaters.
When and why did you get started at Fit2Live and what keeps you coming back?
It was September 2021 when I recovered from COVID and decided to prioritize my fitness journey. I discovered Fit2Live through Google, and there’s been no looking back since. The knowledgeable and caring coaches, their well-structured WODs, and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere instantly drew me in. The community vibe makes every session feel like you’re working out with friends. Most importantly, the daily progress and noticeable improvements in my capabilities keep me coming back to the gym.
What is your favorite memory so far at Fit2Live?
I’d say my favorite memory is the moment I transitioned from a training bar to an Olympic bar. In my mind, I felt like I had become an Olympic gold medalist that day—such an unforgettable feeling! Everything after that has just been a bonus.

One of the many that I am proud is to be able to perform handstand.
