All About The Supplements at Fit2Live!

Check out the guide below for an overview of all of the convenient items we offer in the Fit2Live retail shop.
COWBELL:

This is a FitAid on steroids with 5x the BCAAs as FitAid (Branched Chain Amino Acids which help recovery and lean muscle mass). It also has a ton of other good stuff in it and is the only recovery drink on the market with HMB (a supplement that reduces soreness/inflammation and also promotes muscle growth). Think of it as a premium FitAid which comes at a slightly higher cost ($3.50). This doesn’t contain creatine or protein and only comes in one flavor (for now) and has a slightly different ingredient profile than FitAid which is why we’ll still carry FitAid and the new Protein2o (read below).

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra or post workout. Served cold on a hot day.

Protein2o:

This is a replacement for our beloved Ascent Recovery Water. It is essentially the same thing as the recovery water. It has 20 grams of protein and an electrolyte profile to help you avoid cramping and to increase recovery. Protein is essential before, during and after intense exercise and strength training to speed up recovery and to promote muscle maintenance and growth. This is priced at $3.00 a bottle and comes in 2 flavors: strawberry watermelon and orange mango.

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra or post workout. On a hot day. Throughout the day to round out your protein intake from real foods and to aid in electrolyte balance.

Regular FitAid:

BCAAs, glucosamine, omegas, vitamins and minerals and more to help reduce inflammation and speed up recovery and muscle growth.

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra or post workout. On a hot day.

FitAid Rx’d:

Has all of the goodies of regular FitAid plus the addition of creatine (the most well researched and effective supplements for helping to maintain and increase muscle mass and recovery).

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra or post workout. On a hot day.

FitAid Energy Drink:

200mg of caffeine from green tea extract when you need more of a pick-me-up. It also has BCAAs, Tumeric, Electrolytes, Vitamins, Quercetin, and CoQ10 which increases recovery and muscle maintenance/growth.

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra or post workout. On a long day where you need extra focus and energy. Drink before 3pm.

FitAid Immunity Aid:

This is an immune system booster with sickness fighting ingredients: Turmeric, Vitamins A, C, D3, Zinc, Magnesium, Echinacea, Astragalus, L-Arginine. It is also good for helping you recover from inflammatory issues/injuries.

Ideal time to drink:

Anytime. When you feel a cold/sickness coming on or if you’re dealing with an injury (it has extra anti-inflammatories).

FitAid Focus Aid:

This is a focus drink which will help you channel your inner Bradley Cooper (limitless). 100mg Caffeine from Yerba Maté & Green Tea as well as nootropics and a b-complex (all enhance focus and energy).

Ideal time to drink:

Pre, intra, post workout. Before 5pm. When you have a need for a lot of mental focus/brain work.

Ascent Protein Powder:

No artificial ingredients and 25 grams of high quality protein in every scoop (whey protein isolate…not concentrate). A great way to round out your protein needs in a day or to mix a protein shake pre or post workout. Shoot for .8 grams per pound of bodyweight per day to support lean muscle maintenance and growth. All flavors taste delicious!

Ideal time to consume:

Pre or post workout as an added protein boost for recovery. As a snack throughout the day to boost your protein intake. Mix with other foods to boost protein throughout the day (cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, in homemade bars, coffee, and more!).

Ascent Protein + Coffee Powder:

No artificial ingredients and 100mg of 100% pure columbian coffee and 20 grams of high quality protein in every scoop (whey protein isolate…not concentrate). A great way to round out your protein needs in a day or to mix a protein shake pre or post workout AND to give you an energy scoop. Add to your coffee for an added kick of protein and energy. Mix with ice to replicate a cold brew coffee. It tastes delicious.

Ideal time to consume:

Pre or post workout as an added protein boost for recovery and some energy. Mix for a morning cold brew shake as you go out the door to add some protein and energy. As a snack throughout the day to boost your protein intake and energy. Consume before 5pm.

Ascent Clean Creatine

Creatine is one of the most well researched supplements on the market today.

It has been proven to be effective and safe with many benefits such as increasing lean muscle mass, strength, endurance and recovery. There are also many studies showing cognitive and brain function benefits as well.

Ascent clean creatine uses Creapure® which is the preferred creatine monohydrate for many professional strength, speed and endurance athletes and is widely considered pure and high quality creatine monohydrate available on the market due to lower levels of creatinine, DHT, and DCD. These impurities are found at high levels in many generic creatine products.

Ideal time to consume:

Mix 5g with your protein shake, water or other beverage of choice.

Note: some studies suggest not mixing with caffeine to maximize absorption.

CBD Athletics Muscle Melt

The purpose of Muscle Melt is to help alleviate muscle or tendon pain and tightness. CBD has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce muscle and joint inflammation when applied topically before a workout. CBD can also help relax muscles. Additionally, CBD’s analgesic properties can provide pain relief. Atlas Bars:

This is a quality ingredient protein bar with no artificial crap. It has 15grams of protein from a quality source, whey protein isolate (not a concentrate). They also taste great! There are also vegan friendly options.

Ideal time to consume:

Pre workout when you’re hungry, consume at least 30 minutes before to ensure digestion. Post workout if you need a little extra sustenance in your tummy. As a snack throughout the day or a quick breakfast in the morning. Also great for kids.

Rx Bars:

These are real food protein bars with slightly less protein than Atlas bars (10-12g) more carbohydrates than an Atlas bar (25g, great around workouts or early in the morning). The protein is from quality nuts and seeds and the carbs are from fruit. This is a no B.S. bar.

Ideal time to consume:

Water:

Natures hydrator minus electrolytes. Drink at least half your bodyweight in ounces every….single….day!
