3 TIPS TO MAKE GOING TO THE GYM PART OF YOUR ROUTINE

It can be tough to make going to the gym part of your routine. You might feel like you don’t have enough time, or that you’re not in good enough shape to start working out. But we’ve got 3 tips for you today on how to make this a more realistic achievement for yourself!

START SMALL.

Don’t try to go to the gym every day your first week. Start with 2-3 times per week for your first couple of weeks.

It’s important to start slowly and gradually increase your workout routine. Going to the gym every day for your first week is likely to be too much, and you’ll be more likely to give up. Instead, start with 2-3 times per week for the first few weeks. Once you’re comfortable with that, you can start going more often. Remember, it’s better to make small changes that you can stick with in the long run than to try to make big changes that are difficult to maintain.

FIND A BUDDY!

It makes going to the gym more fun and helps keep you accountable.

There’s no question that working out is more fun when you do it with a friend. Not only do you have someone to help you feel more comfortable while you’re there, but you also have someone to help hold you accountable. If you’ve been struggling to stick to your workout routine, consider finding a friend or family member who is also interested in getting healthy. Exercising with a partner will make going to the gym more enjoyable, and it will help you stay on track.

BE REALISTIC ABOUT YOUR GOALS

Don’t try to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks, but rather focus on losing 1-2 pounds per week until you reach your goal weight.

Trying to lose weight can be a daunting task. It’s important to set realistic goals for yourself, so that you don’t get discouraged and give up. Aiming to lose 1-2 pounds per week is a good rule of thumb. This way, you’re more likely to stick to your plan and reach your goal weight. And remember, there’s no rush – focus on making lifestyle changes that you can stick with in the long term, and the weight will come off gradually. With time and patience, you’ll be able to reach your goals and enjoy a healthier, happier life.

Now that you understand the importance of making the gym part of your routine, it’s time to put what you’ve learned into action.
